remember when i was telling you about the vintage dress i got in la? well i wore it to an anniversary party on sat. when i first got it, it hit mid calf which was a bit long for me seeing as how im only 5'4". i wanted to keep the volume so i just tucked it under and stitched a straight line across the top. i ended up sewing it twice cause it was so short the 1st time..i dont thing anyone would have appreciated the view....ha ha. then the hook and eye broke and i had to literally sew myself into it....you should have seen me contortion into a position so that i could reach the seam! gotta love vintage!
nonetheless the extra fabric created great volume and i felt like a princess and had such a great night with my love, my sis and my brother in law. me and my sis are kinda known for our funny face pics so i thought i would include a few.
