creature

people that know me know that im a creature of habit..and i know i have probably mentioned it before. i guess we are all a little bit right? i tend to order the same plates at the same restaurants...shop in the same stores and look for the same types of fabrics and patterns in the local thrift shops....why fix it if its not broken, right......

which is really all i was going to mention tonight...but its got me thinking that i have changed quite a bit over the last year...not only because of personal circumstances and events that have occurred over the past 12 months but because i feel like i really have wanted to embrace being different...
i felt not that long ago that i needed to fit into a mold i never really wanted to be a part of. the "oc", blond hair, blue eyed beach going....mold....
not me, plain and simple. that means breaking all sorts of "rules" like chopping off my long locks which could be curled into perfect hair tossing waves..eek...and not wearing the oc uniform of jeans and a "cute" top...
dont get me wrong...i find all sorts of people beautiful...including those that can pull off the above said items because they honestly like those things......they are just not for me.
i guess what im saying is i have seemed to just recently been reacquainted with heather.....
so i welcome my old time creatures of habits like cotton minis....big bold jewelry...thai food....and searching for that perfect vintage treasure.....but i also welcome those newly found little monsters like...short hair, red streaks and the blogging world...which i love and appreciate every single day. 
now hopefully you know me a little bit more....
