A little backwards

Reverse manicure.

You'll need: 2 contrasting nail polish colors (I chose Black and Hot Pink)

10 manicure strips

Paint top half of nail with 1st color, remember that this doesn't have to be perfect because you will be putting your contrasting color on top.

Use manicure strips to separate the bottom from top. I usually put the strips as close as possible to the cuticle, so that the spacing looks even on each nail.

Paint bottom half of nails with contrasting color.

Add clear top coat.

Clean up the edges with a Q-tip soaked with nail polish remover.

The final look!

Scissors

2 contrasting cotton sheeting fabrics

Sewing machine

Thread

Iron

An old skinny tie to use as a pattern (I got mine at American Apparel, because there is no lining)
