stripendot

i love mixin words...i think stripendot is a good one for my choice of prints in these pics. i got this top and skirt
from marshalls...for a total of $20. this is 1 of 3 identical striped skirts in varying colors ive bought over the last 
couple of weeks.

an extra long post today.....one of my passions outside of fashion is interior spaces, which i know a lot of you 
share with me. i actually went to school for interior design before i went to school for graphics....only to find that having a client that is a little less than willing to give up total control of design...was not really what i was 
expecting or really....wanting. i definitely ended up where i belong. i apply a lot of the same elements i 
originally learned in interior design school to graphics today...so all was not wasted. so we have been making
some improvements on our house and i wanted to share a few.
after living with raw concrete floors for over a year rob surprised me by having all the hardwood floors put in
while we were in seattle. the color is ebony....just dark enough to be rich in color but sheer enough so that the 
texture comes through.

we also had our awning in the backyard painted black and i added some tapestry drapes i got from my uncle.
we love lounging on the couch sipping some merlot....hopefully we will be able to get a fireplace out there soon.
